1. Who we are

Mariachi Fiesta operates the restaurant and online pickup ordering experience at 329 W Main St, Marshall, MN 56258. Questions or privacy requests can be made by calling (507) 532-2122 or writing to that address.

2. Information we collect

When you place an online order, you provide your name, email address, phone number, billing address, city, state, postal code, ordered items, selected options, any optional pickup note, optional tip, and payment amount. Square may also collect payment-card, device, transaction, and fraud-prevention information.

The shopping cart is stored in your browser’s local storage so it can remain available if you leave or refresh the page. Our hosting provider may create routine technical logs such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page for security and reliability.

3. Card payments and Square

Card details are entered into PCI-compliant fields supplied by Square. Mariachi Fiesta’s website does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. The website receives a one-time payment token and sends it with your order to Square for processing.

When payment is submitted, your name, email address, and phone number are saved to Mariachi Fiesta’s Square Customer Directory and linked to the transaction so the restaurant can identify and support your order. An optional pickup note is attached to the Square order for restaurant staff. Your billing street address, city, state, and postal code are used for card verification and are not added to that customer profile by this website. Providing contact information for an order does not enroll you in marketing.

Square processes information under its own consumer privacy notice.

4. How information is used

• To price, process, prepare, and support your pickup order.
• To prevent fraud, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service.
• To issue receipts, address cancellations or refunds, and keep required business records.
• To comply with tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.

5. When information is shared

Information is shared only as needed with service providers that support the website and ordering process, including Square for payments and the website hosting provider. Google Maps, Google Fonts, and hosted image providers may receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address when their content loads.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the business, or as part of a business transfer. Mariachi Fiesta does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

6. Storage and retention

Your cart remains in local storage until you complete an order, remove the items, or clear your browser data. Customer Directory, transaction, and order records held in Square are retained only as reasonably needed to fulfill and support orders, maintain financial and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

7. Cookies and browser controls

Mariachi Fiesta does not use advertising trackers on this site. The cart uses local storage rather than an advertising cookie. Square and embedded third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. You can clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings, but doing so will empty your saved cart.

8. Your choices

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information by contacting the restaurant. We will verify and respond to applicable requests as required by law. Some transaction information may need to be retained for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

9. Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards and limit payment handling through Square, but no internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. This website and its online ordering service are not directed to children under 13.

10. Policy updates

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
